Back to school!

Well, today was Professional Development, and it felt great to go back to school 5lbs lighter. I know 5lbs is not so visual as the 10lbs or 15lbs lost, but I felt so confident. I also have so much more energy! I am really glad I am off pop and the sugar roller coaster. We went Up North this weekend, and I had so much more energy to do things than earlier in the summer. It felt amazing.

Slow and steady is the way to go. Tracking your food consumption is good too as over time it will give you a sense of where you will want to add / make changes to stay within in the 'calories and nutrition range'.

I find drinking hot water with lemon in it is great for staying the hunger feeling, also, a teaspoon of 'natural peanut butter' on a plain 'multi grain' rice cake is a good snack to carry me over until 'supper is ready'.
