I have been walking/jogging/running almost every day with my puppy and finally decided to "map my route" on www.walkjogrun.net
which if you haven't checked out you should go do right now. I mapped our usual morning & afternoon route and found out we have only been doing 2.6k twice a day. Not impressed.I was under the impression it was quite a bit longer. So, after being sadly disappointed I decided to map out a 5k route for me and my pup and will put that to good use today before my third P90X wokrout. I am sure we'll both be exhausted and collapse on the floor when we get back, but I love working my arms so I will push through and get it done. I think today is shoulders, biceps and triceps. I hope that's what it is anyways.
I did the P90X plyormetrics workout yesterday and my legs are a little stiff today. I stretched a lot yesterday because I had a feeling my legs would be stiff and sore, and I'm so glad I took the time to do that. I forgot how much I hated that workout. Especially when he's telling me "you can do anything for 30 seconds"... Actually, if we're being honest, I only did half of the workout. When he started talking about tuck jumps I was like "oh hell no, I'm done". At least I did half of the video. Goal for next Tuesday is to do the entire video and not hate it as much.
Last night it was 30 degrees (thank goodness summer's not over yet) but I made myself a big hot bowl of (knock off) pho which is Vietnamese beef noodle soup and is essentially my favourite meal ever. In the fall/ winter months I make this every single day and never get tired of it. Whether or not it's "healthy" I am not sure... I assume it might be a bit high in sodium but honestly I don't care. Best soup ever.
