It's my four month anniversary for aquatic aerobics. Who thought I was going to keep it up this long? Even a silly duck like me can accomplish anything with the right motivation.
YOU can do whatever you set your minds to, Sparkers. Every day you try, every ounce of energy you put in, will pay off.
Most of the basic moves are now familiar.
I attend three times a week... usually.
Still no weight loss or apparent muscle tone change. >:(
One bathing suit destroyed by chlorine.
Weakest at reverse cross-country skiing or backwards running.
Favourite move is the L-sit "hand wave" -- sitting with legs straight out, and "waving" both hands simultaneously to propel yourself without kicking. I lap 75% of the class when I take off like a shark. >.>
I can now elliptical on two high-density pool noodles - the hardest move!
Longest single elliptical streak: 12 minutes! O.o
Longest elliptical streak 6 classes ago: 32 bitter seconds.
One photo appearance in a magazine (staring at the ceiling, Mom would be so proud).
