So it's been forever!

Sorry for not updating in so long (not like anyone actually reads this but whatever!)

This summer was the best summer I've had in regards to weight gain...usually I gain weight like crazy over the summer because everyone at my job orders breakfast and lunch (I used to eat a bagel or TWO a day, people!), but this summer I've stayed the exact same weight as when I finished last semester...247.6 pounds as of this morning. Now you all might be thinking, "why is she so happy? she didn't even lose!" but I'm beyond happy because I DIDN'T GAIN ANYTHING! Even if I didn't lose, I managed to break a terrible habit that I've been in for years, which is eating whatever the hell I want, whenever I want during the summer months without paying a speck of attention to diet and exercise. Hooray for breaking bad habits!

There have been so many changes in my life lately! I just started my senior year of college one week ago, and my work load is INSANE. 5 classes (including the hardest political science class you can take at my school) plus piano lessons! I guess that's what I get for choosing to major in political science, but it'll all be worth it when I go on to get my masters degree in the fall, and then go to law school after that! I live off campus in a house with two of my friends, but I don’t get internet until Tuesday so I’m in the tech center on campus killing time until work at 6. I love my house and my roommates and everything has been going great. Me and Tim are doing well and I can’t wait to see him and see Jason Mraz in a weekkkk!:)

My meals have been really healthy for the most part. The only time I’ve eaten badly is if I’m out, but I have literally not one bad food item in my house so I can’t mess up:)

I think I’m gonna try to go to the gym on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays since I’ll be on campus for class, I can go right home afterward to shower, and I don’t have work those days.

    YOU ROCK . . . . You do NOT have to constantly be LOSING weight to be healthier and to be successful. By maintaining your weight all summer long, you have allowed your body to readjust to the current weight, to take a practice run at maintaining your weight - when you are not ACTIVELY dieting, and you will probably start to lose again once you are back on your normal schedule. You should be dancing for JOY - staying the same is almost as good as losing when in the past you would have GAINED a bunch of weight.
