Today is my youngest sons birthday party, so I am laxing on my diet. Don't get me wrong, I made some low fat/calorie stuff for me to munch, but I also made stuff that isn't as good for you, that I also plan to at least try.

and really I mean I have to have some cake and ice cream (at least a small peice/scoop)


By no means am I saying that I am throwing it all to the wind and going to hog heaven, that would be counter productive. But it will be one of those days when i loosen the ties around my diet. I have logged my food so far today and have at max over 1000 calories left to eat this afternoon.

I think sometimes a break is a good thing. Everything in moderation. I think sometimes we get so gun ho, that we loose perspective that we are not always going to be eating to lose weight. Practicing just choosing things in moderation, or choosing the best of two choices is important. Today I am practicing.


and I am enjoying that my baby is growing up. Here is a picture of the little angel (cough, cough) lol. He is (along with the other two) the light of my life. I can't believe how my kids have grown. They are bounding forward into their own lives.
