Excuses for Skipping Exercise

We all have those excuses~
I am too tired-I am too busy-It is too early/too late.
And these are the excuses I have used in the past to
let myself off the hook. But, thankfully, those excuses
sit idle most days. Any excuse I can use to get more
exercise is the order of the day. My responses to
those excuses are~I CAN do it, I AM worth it, Just DO it!
If it's to be, it's up to me!
Find a way to work around those excuses and make a
positive attitude work for you.

    I always look forward to my exercise time each morning and try never to excuse myself ... unfortunately my excuse today is a twisted knee. Ugh!

    Thanks, Marsha, I did exactly that today...I joined Spark Coach for the intro part...thought it couldn't hurt after reading your comments each day (thanks) and got to the video of Coach Nicole talking about 10 minute increments of exercise and much more....and relized that I was only hurting myself (health wise espec) so forced it! THANKS, girl...but I have found being more active I don't have the time now for SO many games...but that's a good thing! Thanks for all you share! emoticon Gaye

    That's absolutely RIGHT!! The mantra for me has to be 'No Excuses!!' Just DO it. Don't whine, just get going. I have a bum foot right now - plantar fasciitis - can't walk much while it's healing so I did the x-bike for 61 min. That was a really GOOD workout, better than the usual routine I do. So when one thing doesn't work, just find another way. Great blog. emoticon emoticon

    So true - I was tlking to my husband this morning and said if I go to the pool, and I stopped myself and said when I go to the pool today. I am so glad that I make the effort to go. Swimming isn't my favorite exercise but it is starting to grow on me since it is the best one for me right now.

    Gee, those sound familiar... this morning the emoticon voice looked at the clouds and tried to stop me from walking out the door with the emoticon ... but I did it anyway. That's ONE good decision to start the day off right.

    emoticon I can totally relate to finding excuses to not exercise. And I love what you have to say about doing it for yourself because you are worth it. What a great attitude to have!
