Taking some time off

I truly messed up my healthy eating this past week.
So I took a few days off from my computer.
And I have decided that that is okay.

I fell down a couple of stairs a week ago, of which I got a huge bruise on my rear end. But I also landed on my left knee, and I had both of my knees replaced 5 years ago. It did not do me any good to have fallen like that. So I have taken the week off from exercise as well, trying to recover. I have had to also help my daughter, with her daughter.

I plan to be back at exercise on Monday. I also plan to be back to eating better.

    Yes - it's okay to take a few days off... Life becomes quite complicated when grandkids are added to the now empty nesting chapter of our lives. LOVE my grandkids! So grateful to be so close to them! Just spent 4 days with all of them! whew! we're tired. Still have baby until tomorrow afternoon..., but one baby is a walk in the park after the 5 and 3 yr old! :-)

    I've been AWOL on SP messages for several weeks so let me congratulate you on your new granddaughter. She is precious.

And how is your daughter now? I hope she is recovering well and the depression is lifting.

And did you get over the fall? That could have been very serious.

    woo hoo it's monday and you get to get your groove back on. i am there with ya. i fell off my bike last tuesday and still have a big roadburn on and under my knee. nonetheless i have decided i am getting back on track today. so far nutrition has been acceptable but i have not gotten cardio in yet. . guess i should just get up and do it now that i am typing this. will let you know how far i get.

We all face challenges and sometimes feel like life just sucks us up! I sometimes feel overwhelmed and get off track myself.
