Bathing beauty

Saturday, August 25, 2012

Well i finally had it. All i have been having for too long is sponge baths and washing my hair in the sink. Well i decided to take a real shower. My bathmat was out of the tub. My grabbar was never rehung. Then i saw he was using two of my towels even though he had one on the bar and two on the floor. He must like my nice clean towels. He saw what was up and asked if i was cleaning the towels. I said yes. These are my towels that i bought. If he just used one and washed it occasionally it would be fine. I said do you wash towels. He asked where they were i said my room. I am going let him use up to 2 not so good towels and i will keep a few in the bathroom for me. His towels are old and drab. Mine are colorful. If i was working are getting ssd it would be easier to set boundaries. I knew this would be a problem when i moved in. About a month ago he rinsed a real spoon he must have ran out of disposible. He just left it in the sink that i finally got clean. He didnt put it back in the drawer where his silverware is stored and i havent either. When i go to dars i am gonna mention this problem. It makes for more stress and all the filth from ten years before i came to live here makes me sick. From the maid.

Yes, I think it is time to put your foot down. Living in a horrible mess will make your health worse, and living in constant stress is also really bad for your health. Ask for help. Tell them living there is incredibly unsafe and unhealthy and you need help to find other options. Be frank and honest about what your roommate is like and how difficult it is for you to leave.

I had this problem, but it was reversed. I always look at the Big picture and never worry about the small things that drive some people crazy. So some of my relationships have faltered because of this.

I never would have taken your towels and would have left your things alone, but I would have left the spoon.

Your blog hit a soft spot in me. My brilliant sister was observant like you and I would do anything to have her back.

I never understood why she was so unhappy with me because I would have done anything for her, but I have always been someone who sees the big picture.

Maybe this is how this person is or maybe they truly don't care. I would say "Find out."
