Apple Cider Vinegar!

Saturday, August 25, 2012

My husband uses this in a new recipe that we've been trying out, for something called a pupusa mix (basically, shredded cabbage, carrots, red bell peppers and onions mixed with the vinegar and spices). It tastes great with grilled chicken and we love it.

I recently came across an article about apple cider vinegar and all of the health benefits from it that I found very interesting and wanted to share:

I feel inspired to try out most of the uses that the article suggests, and will need to post later about any positive results!

I'd love to hear about anyone else's thoughts about this, do you drink it for health benefits? So interesting to me.

Much love and inspiration to you all- take care!!!

I drank Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar w/Honey and Water (hot) for years. I purchased the vinegar w/the Mother (fermented apple skin) and lost inches from my waist. I really enjoyed this drink on a cold crisp morning or evening.

I have been told it helps to have a T of it with a fatty meal.

I have a little pamphlet on apple cider vinegar and honey, the benefits of them, it says if you drink a little bit of it 2 times a day, that you will lose weight, I never stick with anything to find out

Forgot to say...when I was a young child my mom would have me rinse my hair with a mix of water, creme rinse and cider vinegar. Now that I think back on it people were always commenting on my hair. Hmmmm....

I've read about Apple Cider Vinegar through the years as well. For a while I used to put it in my water with a little bit of honey...kind of like water and lemon but a bit different. Took some getting used to at first but then I kind of craved it. :)
