Luncheon With A Special Man

We got an extraordinary opportunity to have lunch with Romney the other day. I was not a huge fan of his, but he was better than the alternative in my opinion. His speech was simply amazing and very inspiring. He talked about the power of one person with amazing examples. Then there was a chance to shake his hand. He locked eyes with every person whether they spoke to him or not, and most did. Many people have knocked him for being something they think he is or is not. When I shook his hand I felt as if he was family and I am not talking about here on earth. It was the most amazing experience of my life. Who would have thought that a simple handshake could say so much, without words. My husband had a very similar experience as did others whose reports were in our local paper. Television reports rarely give an accurate picture or the full picture. Be careful what you believe with all of your heart. This is something I will not soon forget. As my husband says, " I hope I just shook hands with the future president of the United States!" If you are like I was, I suggest you take another look at the man. He is far more than they would like to portray him as being. He is genuine, not all politician, hard working and speaks from a heart that truly desires the best not just for the country, but for the individual and it's not all about him.
