Buried So Deep

Saturday, August 25, 2012

How did this happen to me
buried so deep
nobody sees how much I bleed
desperately searching for who I wanna be
too weak to believe
dying to be free
feels like an impossible dream.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Don't Lose Hope

"In the darkness I feel blind
Lead me back into the light
Don't lose hope!
Even though you can't see it I know
Things are getting better
Don't let go!
We are here with you; you're not alone!"

I love the top part that you wrote Stacy...You really need to sit down and focus on what can you change to make yourself happy....There really is no magical cure or magic pill that will make people lose weight- it takes determination, willpower and a belief in hope to make those small changes turn into bigger actions and lifestyle changes. I know that you can do this, I know that you have hope and determination and love for yourself within you, but do you realize that? I think the first step to changing yourself is accepting and loving who you are right now, not who you may become. Think about it...small steps starting NOW ...not tomorrow, or someday...life happens NOW!

Wow! These are some powerful words! The first poem is such a cry for help followed by the song you quoted which is so uplifting. What a great juxtaposition! Thanks for sharing and have a super day!
