It's been a crazy first week of school, but I'm almost there! I have one class this afternoon and then I can enjoy the weekend. My eating has been okay. I'm eating more this week because I've been biking to school, and I was released from PT this week so I'm walking again too. I have a neighbor who used to be one of my kids' teachers, and she and I are back to walking early in the morning. I exercise alone a lot, so it's nice to have a friend to do it with!
My husband and I have been talking a lot about things he can do in his life to make some changes, and today is the 2nd day in a row he hasn't eaten his lunch in the car on the way to work, and then gotten McD's for lunch. I'm giving him a better breakfast and a bottle of water to chug on while he's driving to work, and that seems to be working out. I know he likes his burritos with the chorizo and eggs, but they really aren't filling him up and they're not good for him anyway. So yay, Dan. :)
This weekend I'm going to try a 15-mile ride with a couple of friends and see how it goes. I got the boot off last Friday and have been doing my exercises, and I'm done with PT, so it's time to get those pedals rolling for more than the 2 miles to my classes. Spark on. :)
