This was my first half-week of Autumn semester! I am already soo busy with studying, but I am making my workouts fit into my busy schedule beautifully.

I ended up doing a -LOT- more walking than usual yesterday. Although I planned to take the bus home, I chose to walk because I just missed the bus and didn't feel like waiting. I burned more calories yesterday than I ever have in a single day (2503) .. and I also drank more water in a single day than I ever have before (24 cups! That's a gallon and a half!).

In the morning I had a 30 minute HIIT + core strength training workout. After that, I walked to/from/around campus for nearly 3 hours on and off (most of it at a very brisk pace or uphill). By the end of the day, I was so exhausted and I was worried how I would feel the next day. I imagine that I felt close to what the Biggest Loser contestants feel after their first workout day, haha.

Luckily, I don't feel bad today at all! I got a good stretch before going to bed last night, and the tart cherry juice and zyphlamend (anti-inflammatory supplement) helped a lot. Also, I made sure to eat enough protein and calories yesterday, and I also got 10 hours of sleep. Today I feel pleasantly "used" but good, even able to do a bit more.

I don't want to overdo it, though, and I certainly don't have time to sleep 10 hours EVERY night, so I am making sure to do less today and to rest tomorrow.

My goal moving forward is to burn about 1500-1700 cal each day Mon-Fri. That will put me at about 7000-7500 cal burned per week. In order to do this healthily (aiming for a loss of 2-3 lb per week), my calories eaten range is going way up from 2050-2550 to 2850-3350 per day! That's a lot of calories, haha.

I lost 4 lbs overnight!!!!! Most of it might be water weight, but I feel so -skinny- and it's a great feeling! Also, I am back in the 340's YEAH!!! My back doesn't hurt as much as it usually does, and my entire body just feels really healthy. I think I can definitely get used to all of this walking, and I intend to stick to my 30 min early morning workouts, too (HIIT/core on Tue+Thurs, Full Body Strength Training on Mon+Wed+Fri).

I can do this! I will do this! I am already doing it!
