I was given a referral to a hematologist today from my Dr. to see if I need to be put on blood thinners instead of the full dose aspirin that I have been taking since my stroke 3 years ago. I called the hematology office already knowing that the hematologist dr I would be seeing is Dr.Lee. when she gave me the address and the name of the place which is Cancer Care of Thronton the Dr. Lee's name clicked in my head and I asked is this the same Dr. Lee that used to be on Fox St. 15 years ago and she said yes. I am so excited, Dr. Lee was my oncologist 15 years ago! I went by his old office years ago and he wasn't there anymore. He does both oncology and hematlogy didn't know that. They wanted me to get in there right away with my history and family history of blood clots so won't be seeing Dr. Lee for my appt but I can pop in to say Hi! I go In Monday at 1pm.

I am going to thank my workman comp dr who used to be a stroke Dr wehn I see him next for his concern of me only taking aspirin as he has led me back to the Dr who saved my life 15 years ago
