Yesterday I felt very sick. Today, I had two court dockets to attend; 9:30 am and 1:00 pm. I decides that I would drive to the morning one, run an errand, come home, and then decide if I felt up to biking back to the afternoon one. DD came home last night and we talked about her riding along with me.

This morning's docket, which usually is a 45-minute affair, took almost 2 hours. I rushed to run my errand and clattered through the door with the same plan: determine if DD was up to riding.

See what I did there?

DD said no, but I was running late and on autopilot by that time. I pulled on bike shorts and changed shoes, packed up my stuff and took off.

I was over halfway to town before my brain caught up and said, "wait a minute! Am I up to this?!"

The answer is pretty much, not really. But I was committed by then. So there I was, sitting in court feeling kind of nauseated. Again.

I'm really not very bright....

Ugh. Hope you are feeling better. I went through three days of headaches this week. Not fun, they just sap the life out of you.

I hope you took it easy or got a drive home too!

Were you able to put a "bright smile" on for the client and judge, in spite of not feeling very bright?

Hope you feel better soon!

I hope you took it easy going home or called your daughter and asked her to pick you up.
