Wow thanks PATTERD707. The swim is one of the things that I'm finding is a great equalizer. I'm surprised that I can swim for an hour or so and pound some speed intervals, and then climb out of the pool and not feel completely destroyed. And it's not just that I've acclimated - I was seeing that even at the outset of my adventure.
If triathlon is a specific area of interest, check out the forums on beginnertriathlete.com. They are extremely helpful, and even have some free structured plans to get you safely to your first sprint event.
I love cycling and I like running, but I need to get back to swimming soon, since my son now wants to do a tri with me. Will be following to learn from you.
