The past five days my weight has been stable within about .4 of a pound. Yesterday I followed what they refer to as an apple day - take the HCG drops as usual and eat only 6 apples for the day. I felt a little hungry in the morning between apples 2 and 3, but after that I was fine the rest of the day. This morning my weight was down one pound.
Now I go into the final ten - again. I've been here a couple of times in the last 2 years. I want to make it to the finish line this time. This HCG plan seems to be a good plan for me to follow. The focus on only lean meats, veggies, and fruits is close to the way I've been learning to eat. With the drops I've been able to follow their plan, cut back the calories as they prescribe and have very little hunger.
The thing I miss the most is the workouts I usually do. With the low calorie it is advised to do little exercise, mainly walking. I have gotten a few walks in and have done a little strength training. However, I miss the running and Bodypump classes. I will be more than ready to get back to those when I stabilize at maintenance weight.
I do continue to be impressed and excited about DH following the plan and learning to eat much better than before. He has been doing so well. He's never said anything about missing all of the sweets he usually eats and he has been very faithful to stay true to the plan - even to the point of weighing his meat to be the exact portion allowed. This is all so different to see him doing this! I am sooo proud of him! And with that I am even more determined to stay true to it myself!
