Living along and loving it - goal to get things done
Did a lot today, even if I felt stiff and was moving slow. Took out the garbage, did laundry, swept my daughter's stairs and porch while waiting for her mattress to be delivered. went protein and fruit shopping, make greek yogurt and cheese in the crock pot (picture coming in next couple of days), did dishes, returned library books, ran into old friend, visited a friend that just got back from vacation, picked plums from a tree, visited and gave my father a book, did a mad rush around this morning transferring funds just in time because a "for deposit only" deposit came back because they needed signatures (I've done FDO for years on checks with the account number!) and managed to not bounce bills.
I also got two huge cream danishes and ate them. What??? Yep my reward for hitting the 25 lbs lost mark. I know it seems strange to be so clean on eating and shove these in my face but it was a reward I promised myself. Truth? It really wasn't as great as I'd made it out to be. I was going to have this be my reward for each 25 off, but honestly next time it might be cheese cake. Have my taste buds changed that much?
After the swelling water weight I was so shocked that my lovely nice kind very beautiful scale whispered sweet nothings of 220 to me. If that doesn't prove the point of take scales without a grain of salt!
