Busy day today

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

I didn't get a workout in today; unfortunately my oldest child threw up in her bed again tonight. This sucked... a LOT. So I had to take her to the doctor instead of going to the gym. Sinus infection. Yay.

Worked a lot. Cooked supper. A rather good one, roast beef with potatoes, carrots, celery, and onions. It turned out REALLY well. I underate a bit (by accident! I swear), so was able to eat a really big dinner without guilt.

So that's about it. Going to bed early tonight... I need a good night's rest!

The only thing worse than upchucking yourself is having to clean up after someone else . . . hope your daughter's better.

Remember that it's better to eat small amounts more often during the day to help your digestion, blood sugar, etc. Eating less during the day then having a big dinner doesn't do much good. If this happens again, try having a small snack 2-3 hours before or after dinner to add in calories, instead of overeating at dinner.

Also, make sure you eat breakfast within a half hour of waking up. This will get your metabolism going and help with your hunger signals so you don't 'forget' to eat.
