So, today i did day 2 of the C25K program. It was hard, but not nearly as hard as Monday was. This could be because I'm becoming more fit. Also i made things easier on myself than last time: last time i started in the field since it's better for joints. Lol i sound likely old person talking about my joints; but my knees are already slightly messed up- my left kneecap pops out sometimes my right knee has something floating around in it from when i had a really nasty bruise from falling. My right knee also makes a weird noise and feels strange when i crouch (such as doing squats). My doc told me that i strengthen my left leg muscles but there's nothing i can do about the right. So i say all that to say, i started in the field last time, but it was so i switched to the bike path. Today i skipped the field altogether. Also i drank a bit of water before whereas i drank none last time. Also, i drank 200 calories of green smoothie as my pre-workout meal instead of only 100.
On Monday i also went for a 30 minute walk. Yesterday i did 30 minutes of hill on the elliptical and 30 minutes of cycling.
I have to say, i love my Nike GPS app!! It was only a few bucks rather than the $100 plus i would have spent on a pedometer . Of course it can be argued that i have to pay my phone bill that allows me to use the app. But i don't count that.
