End of First Week

It's been a week since I started on Sparkpeople. I weighed in yesterday and lost a grand total of 2 lbs :) I'm so excited!!! I had already started to get a little discouraged. Changing ingrained habits is really hard. I'm starting to realize that I can't do this alone. I decided to start my own Sparkpage and start posting blog entries. I think tracking my progress should help. When I get discouraged I can go back and see how far I've come. Also, I was hoping to make some Spark friends on here. I'm starting to realize that I can't do this on my own. I need other people's advice, encouragement and wisdom.

    Start small, be patience with yourself and eventually you will get there
