Well, I've finally got my husband signed onto SparkPeople! It's been great for both of us and it's been kind of fun showing him the ropes. It definitely makes life easier when he can see just how much goes into tracking and keeps both of us motivated, rather than just me making him healthy meals.
Running has been a slow process. I had been working on Week 5 of C25K but think I need to back up to Week 4 as I just haven't found my groove. I decided I'd rather move back a week and be successful over staying on Week 5 and getting more and more discouraged. Heading to the gym after work for some serious leg workout! Gotta get those muscles back into gear :)
I am trying Spark Coach as well and finding it to be the little extra daily boost that I need. I was so dependent on Weight Watchers for so long that it reminds me a bit of that without the parts that I really didn't like. If you haven't tried it I'd highly recommend it! Yes, there are some very basic topics but the basics are the foundation and just like my toddler, sometimes I need to be reminded every now and then!
