So many times people told me to quit "You can't do it, you should stop trying"


Maybe they are right, but we take baby steps.


We may take steps backwards then go foward with our baby steps.

How many steps and how long is your choice, not theirs.


When the mean people tell you you can't do it consider the source.


Because I know you can!

    This blog post rings so true Victoria . . . . I tend to be the kind of person that goes whole hog for a while, gets overwhelmed and then quits. The fact is that baby steps lead to more success than whole hog does. This time around I've made lifestyle changes in small increments that have made it much easier for me to maintain. Yes, I've lost and put back on some weight, but overall I FEEL better. And in the long run, that's what it's all about.

    This is why I prefer to set small goals and focus on my actions or behaviors rather than the results. Definitely baby steps are the best!!

    This is why I suggest we focus on losing one pound at a time, then when we do to feel proud and work toward the next one pound because small, repeated successes reinforces our motivation and shows we can indeed do this. -- Lou

    You know I have tried to lose weight many times before and I never really knew that I could...or that I could keep it up for a significant amount of time. But this time I know. This time I am just taking it one baby step at a time. And each baby step adds on to a healthier me. And that is my ultimate goal.
