Day 204: I Think It's Time!!

I think it's time I sucked it up and reevaluated my goals. :( I had been so good at working my butt off to meet my goals and now I'm slowing down. Which has my mental peppy side slowing down too. I need to stand up though, shake it off, set new goals, and become the strong fierce goal seeking woman I know I am. I CAN DO THIS!!! I have gotten this far, I CAN keep going! I refuse to get stuck. I refuse to start growing comfortable again and resign to being at a weight I know I'm truly not happy with. I DESERVE THIS!!!! I CAN DO THIS!!!! Now I just need to figure out reasonable goals for the next months and go from there.

OK, I changed the goals. I EVEN added another goal date, letting go of the finish in one year plan. And I'm good. It's like I just shook a weight off of me. Which by the way, in Zumba sometimes I feel like I can feel every roll jumping up and down so hard I almost get excited thinking, Surely I will see them just lying on the floor when I'm done! But sadly, no. LOL! One day though I will not feel them because they will not be there and I will be in MAINTAINING MODE!!! YAY!! I WILL GET THERE!!!! I WILL! I KNOW I CAN DO THIS!!!! So excited to see the new goals and feel less pressure and guilt with the old ones gone. It's really no big deal. It's done! I'm good! I'm happy!! :) I CAN DO THIS!!!

Your blog reminded me of something I read once by Dale Carnegie, I can't remember what book it was in, but I committed it to memory. He wrote,

"...One of the chief causes of fatigue is boredom. Our fatigue is often caused not by work, but by worry, frustration and resentment...we rarely get tired when we are doing something interesting and exciting..."

I think that you have re visited your plans, goals, changed things up a bit... you will achieve your goals.
