Am disappointed that i havent made significant progress since June

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

I am a bit disappointed that after the first 30 pounds my wieght seems to have stagnated. Problem is i know that i am not giving it my all. I know i need to increase my work out, avoid bingeing for a couple of days till i break the plateau, but i am not doing it...have gotten too involved celebrating my inital success i guess...:(...(thats where all the chocolates were coming reward for success....guess i chose the wrong kind of reward)
Well, but as we always do, picking myself up, chin up and ready to give it another shot.

I feel ya on that one. I've been at that point on one of my many journeys. It's almost like you have an I've arrived moment and I got this moment. Glad you caught it before it's months later, or a year later. Get on back up and keep it moving. Toss the chocolate and sip some water, eat some fruit and nibble some veggies

Sorry that you are feeling so down. But like you said, just pick your self up and start again. I've done it too. You have the energy to do it.

First congrats on ur weightloss thats great never mind hun we all have these moments where we reward ourselves with food by mistake wat about buying a new lipstick or lip gloss instead of the chocolate. dont give up just up ur game abit and do a little more exercise and if u need a snack eat fruit, melon is good at stopping my chocolate cravings it may work for u too and remember u have come this far already so u can do it.

Dust off those knees and jump back in. Get your water in, measure those portions and tackle the day with a smile. emoticon

It's the small steps that will lead you to your victory. You are well on your way. Hang in there.

Don't beat yourself up. 30 pounds is a huge victory! Instead of celebrating with food treat yourself to something else. Clothes, shoes, spa etc! Keep up the great work!
