I went on vacation last week with the best of intentions. I knew I was going to eat somewhat unhealthy and more than usual, but I had a plan. I booked a hotel I used to stay at when I was a kid. There was a pool, a sauna, a jacuzzi and an exercise room. I would be fine and everywhere we were visiting required tons of walking. Then we got there. The sauna was long gone, the jacuzzi was boarded up and the equipment in the exercise room wasn't exactly in tip top shape. To top it all off the indoor pool was freezing cold! They finally fixed it on Friday just in time for us to leave :/ I only gained 2.6 lbs but that was enough to make me start feeling bad about myself again. I think I've even gained another pound since we got back. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. As soon as we left Williamsburg I quit soda again and to be fair I didn't drink all that much while we were there. I'm trying desperately to get back to eating healthy but there are still left over goodies from the trip and I don't want them to go to waste do I? Motivation to exercise has completely left the building. Excuses excuses....Sunday I was too tired from the long drive and needed to rest up for work on Monday....Monday I wanted to get straight home so my son could tell me how his first day of middle school went .......... today I usually work my second job but I have the night off so no more excuses I will workout tonight and I'm cooking porkchops with fresh snap peas for dinner!
