STILL MAINTAINING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

I started my journey back in 2006 and was going back through some of my blogs and photos to see how far I have progressed in the past six years.
I reached my weight loss goal in 2009 and have maintained for the past three years, I work at this on a daily basis by tracking my food on the nutrition tracker and exercising daily.
It was a long journey and I had some bumps in the road a few plateaus and some days just wondered why I was so determined to keep off the pounds.
Then I look back and see how I looked when I started my journey and remember that I felt like just giving up and saying why bother.
However I knew deep down there was a healthy person just waiting to come out and enjoy this beautiful world in which we live.
I feel that it is a good thing to look back over the years and see what your life was then and what improvements you have made to validate the why questions we all ask ourselves.


This was taken after I had lost twenty pounds at the beginning of my journey.

This was taken when I reached my goal at Snoqualmie Falls one of our favorite places to visit.

This was taken in July of this year.

I was watching this Bald Eagle land just as Hubby snapped the photo.
We were on a picnic at the beach at Kayak Point.
