Hello People & Peopleettes!
I've been disciplined with my diet and workouts, and it's FINALLY beginning to show! I have to admit, when I stayed on my diet without fail for WEEKS (and months) and didn't see any significant weight loss I started to get a bit frustrated. People kept saying that it's normal to plateau, and you just have to be patient, so I kept at it.
With weight lifting/bulking my upper body and dieting at the same time, it took me a bloody month to lose 5 pounds, but I did it! Now, I'm 6 pounds away from my first weight goal! Keep in mind, it has taken me YEARS (of failure) to get this close, and I'm not gonna stop now! So...damn...close!
By belly is still broad and round (hey, I'm built like a bear--for me weight loss will never mean "thin"), but it's noticeably smaller and solid, and I've increased size and definition in my chest and arms (increased my bicep size by 2.5"). I'm seeing the results in my energy level, the amount of weight I lift, on the scale, and in the mirror . . . and it feels great! ;o)
I've got 6 pounds to lose in 2 months. I WILL do this! I'm tired of failing. Food has been a weakness for too long. It's not worth it. I want to own my body for a change, instead of it owning me.
