Sparkfriends, don't ever believe that the "younger generations" are good with technology. Okay, I'm only a few months away from the big 3-0, but still...I grew up with computers, and got my first cell phone my freshman year of college, and I STILL have no idea what I'm doing.
So it took me 5 days to figure out how to the get pictures off my phone (my last camera died a sad death in Wildcat Creek, as it turns out you shouldn't try to kayak and photograph at the same time).
I went with my mom to visit her parents in Rogers, Arkansas. We stopped at Meramec, since neither of us had been there before, and I took tons of pics! Here they are!
Our half-way point: The St. Louis Arch
Meramec Caverns! Sooo glad we stopped, it had been almost 8 hours in the car and we were ready to STRETCH!! I couldn't figure out how to turn on the flash...but after seeing the photos I'm glad, they turned out really well!
My grandparents view. I always take way too many pictures of the lake and the sunset...but seriously, can you blame me?!
And here is my mom and my absolutely adorable grandparents, married over 53 years now!
