Now this is nerving!

Yes, I'm stuck at this weight regardless of all the good things I eat (and in real moderation!) and regardless of the elliptical and 40 minutes of it (in addition to the low impact cardio I do anyway everyday). This is rather annoying and very, very nerving! What's up with that?? It's not like I have lost all the weight I need to loose except for a few pounds - nuh! My plans are to lose at least 40. So again - what's up with that?

On the bright side - DD set up a family challenge and DD, SIL, the other DD and DH are all taking part in it together with me. Let's how that goes. First weigh in done yesterday. I so need to meet my first goal. Not so long ago, this was my normal weight!

It's frustrating, but it's not without results. The exercise gives me a great feeling of accomplishment and the veggie, fruit and legume diet has proven as very satisfying (no sugar cravings and a long feeling of full and 'clean' inside). Results must come, right? I'll blame it on menopause! LOL

    Plateaus, menopause, name it, it can make us all come to a stand still. Women seem to have this problem more so than men. And it can become very frustrating, to say the least!! But hang in there, dear friend, the benefits you have given your body far exceed your wildest imagination and the weight will soon follow. Perhaps your body is "thinking" right now. Well, give it something to REALLY think about by continuing forward. It goes without saying how proud we are of you...and what an inspiration you have been to us.

Continue looking forward and up. Good things are happening here.

    Could be menopause.

However it IS possible to continue losing the weight. We have a topic on this. Lively discussion.

    Sometimes we reach plateaus but keep the faith. Your body will overcome it if you continue to eat right and drink the right amount of water. Believe it! emoticon

    You might try tracking your food and see if you are getting enough calories. I know it sounds weird. The other thing is whether you are drinking enough water.
