Day 1 of the ZWOW 1-30 challenge

Well today is day one of the ZWOW 1-30 challenge. I completed ZWOW #1 in 17min 48 sec. This was one crazy workout. But I made it all 3 rounds. I did have to modify the exercises as I am not yet able to do full on push up and I can't do the pistol squats at all.

I also did 30 min on the rowing machine and 30 min on the stationary bike.

I am going to be sore tomorrow. But I will be ready for ZWOW #2.

    Hi! I just started doing these workouts too. I completely know what you mean about the pistol squats! A friend who introduced them to me said at first just go at your own pace and don't try to keep up, but obviously if you can..GREAT! I was pretty slow and had to modify a lot but despite how it looks it is ok..well, #1 at least! I might change my mind after the next workout! emoticon

    I still have problem with pistol squats but I try to lower myself as much as I can even if it's just 1 inch LOL Congrats for completing your fantastic workout series (ZWOW #1 plus the others)!

    Great idea CODILYNN. I think some of it is mental but most is physical. It would be fun to see my progression from 1-??.

Unfortunately my time is so good because of the major modifications. But I like how she does the exercise real time. It helps to try and keep pace with her.

great suggestion Codilyn about the push ups I too I have not progress to full pushups after 2 years I will take this suggestion for myself!

    Great TIME!!!!

How were the dive bombers for you? Those were hard my first time too- my sholders killed after this workout.

Also my challenge for you is in every workout do at least one push-up on your toes. Even if its just one its gets rid of that scary feeling of I can only do pushups on my knees to I did 1 pushup in my workout today, I did 2 today etc. I could have stayed on my knees forever becuase I "thought" I couldnt do pushups. One day I said no more pushups on my knees- I did pushups on my toes and if that meant I only got 3 pushups in the time thats what it was- but that was bodyrocking.. Some of Zus have a LOT of pushups so I do as many on my toes until I cannot feel my arms then move to my knees.. YOU CAN DO IT One at a time..
