I came home from my 1st day back at work since the long summer and could already feel the stress in my back and head. It was 6:00pm and no one (3 people home all day) had even thought about starting supper. The stress keeps mounting...
I fixed grilled boneless pork loins, broccoli, and cottage cheese (from carton) for our supper and still felt overwhelmed. I sat down to take a break (and calm down) and my teenage daughter grabbed my hand and said, "Mom, we're going for a walk."
Forty minutes of walking and 400 jumping jacks later, all is well. I'm so thankful that I exercised today (and have a daughter that knows what I need). It was a sanity saver (literally!).
