Today was Day 1 of my pre-planned meals for the week. I've been saying forever that I need to do this - well it's time to actually mean it. I didn't quite stick completely to the meal plan but I did sub my breakfast for a healthy alternative - I ate a banana instead. I'm way under my calories this today so I will go feed myself once I'm done blogging, since I'm feeling pretty hungry at this moment.
I got thinking about someone's blog I read a few months ago about tracking their calories eaten vs calories burned and they treat it sort of like a bank - hard to explain til I find it and read it again. I'm really wanting to find this blog again and to see how they did it. I really think this will push me to be more careful with my eating.
I didn't get exercise in today since my dad came to visit and I had a last minute call last night to watch the 2 kids I hardly ever watch. That's an extra $60 thrown my way this week!! YAY!! So I will be extra sure to get those workouts in the next couple days. It's been 2 days in a row that I've missed working out or walking. There's no way I'm going to let it hit a 3rd day!!
THe team i run right now - I've made the focus on sleep this week. Not to try and aim for 8 hours cuz I don't think a lot of us can really commit to that quite yet even though everyone should be. Instead I have everyone keeping track of the amount of sleep PLUS the quality of sleep PLUS noting how they felt before they went to sleep. This will hopefully help us all notice the patterns we have and help us to understand why we sleep like we do and from there we can figure out how to change it.
Wow it's getting late and I still have lots to do before bed!! Good night everyone!!
