This last month I have tried some of my old plans to try to get back to my pre-Holland weight without much success :( I kept bopping around the 150 mark - a major panic point for me.
Saturday morning I finally had enough and decided to do the one thing I hadn't tried yet - low carb and actually tracking my food on Fitday (more user friendly for me than this site for tracking) The other thing I'm doing is stop eating at 4pm and not have breakfast till at least 10am - which give me a "fasting" period of 18 hours. Lunch has been our main meal for years now, so it's not that hard for me.
After 2 days of sticking to it I'm down 1-1/2 pounds to 148.6! yeah!! It's all the motivation I need to stick with it for the rest of the week and then another etc. I'm taking it one week at a time.
