I can't (I can) believe that i went so overboard this weekend.

Monday, August 20, 2012

My birthday weekend. yeah right! i should call it my "Excuse to eat anything that wasn't tied down" weekend. So now Monday is here and I feel so let down. I got on the scale this morning and saw that I gained 2 pounds. reality set in. So did I pull up my boot straps and just automatically regain control...NO! I went down stairs and ordered scrambled eggs,3 strips of turkey bacon, wheat toast and a small coke. I may be DONE being the fat girl; but sometimes I feel that the fat girl will always be inside of me. My own personal saboteur.

Flush it out with water, exercise and up your protein for next couple of days. Don't beat yourself up emotionally. Just get back on track and keep going. Indygirl once said, if you blow out a tire you don't pull over and slice the other three tires too. Just fix the tire and get back on the road. Remember, emoticon

and by the way, emoticon

You're being way to hard on yourself. Cut your losses and get back on your plan. There is no one on the planet that doesn't cheat on their diet once in a while, you didn't do anything that every single person has not done some time or other. emoticon

I can relate to that because I did indulge this weekend. It's good to make the mistake, realize and take steps so that it does not repeat itself again next time around...and trust me, an opportunity will come knocking at your door.

Portion control is the key when indulging in your favorites food. You have to kick that inner fat girl out and start embracing the person you are working to become. emoticon

Just pep talk yourself from time to time
