The sandwich doesn't get much respect. I have a friend that doesn't consider it real food. At best, she calls a sandwich a snack. Even I don't hold sandwiches in much regard. They are a second class meal I consume only when I don't have time for something better. But, thinking about it after watching today's SparkCoach video about having a list of quick meals for when time is tight, I must reconsider this.
Sandwiches are a great way to create a quick healthy meal. They are portable and easy to my make. When augmented with some fruit and carrot sticks and yogurt, it is a complete and balanced meal. My favorite is either tuna or pbj.
