Well it is monday again. Today I finally have the doctor's appointment, so I can get my ankle checked out! I am planing on working out after that. I don't know exactly what I want to do to work out, but I want to go to the koltche center (I'm not sure how it is spelled). That is a fitness center on campus that is free to use durring the semester, and I think that it is free as of today, but I am not sure. I will check it out and see. I plan on canceling my membership to planet fitness later then, if I can go to the klotche center, there is no point of having two gym memberships.
I hope I can get a new bus pass today, as my old one expired on the 19th. They never know when the new ones are in. At UWM they give away free (its included in our tuition) bus passes called a upass. I don't have a car so I rely on the bus for transportation. I had signed up for a summer class and got the pass for the summer, but I couldn't afford to take the class so I had to drop it. I kept the bus pass and used it though.
Oh I know what I will write about here! I don't think that I have written about this here before. I am trying to start my own jewelry making business. I have been making jewelry as a hobby for years and would like to be able to make money selling what I make. I have been taking the slow route in starting my business because I would like to do it right. The name of my business is "Crafts by Knight" originally I was going to call my business "Carley Knight Crafts," but I like my new name a whole lot better. I need to register my name somehow, but as of right now I don't have much money.
I got into an art fair recently! It will be on september 22nd at downtown Milwaukee on the riverwalk. It a the first anual event and there is no entry fee. I need to steep up my production as I want to sell as much as I can. I don't know exactly how much stuff to bring, but I a super excited. I will use this as an opportunity to see who my clients are. I don't really have a customer profile to market to yet, and I hear that it is good to target a specific type of customer if you want to sell.
Here are some links if you want to check out my business:
my face book page:

my etsy store:
craftsbyknight.etsy.com
and my twitter handle is: @craftsbyknight
I haven't really done much with my etsy site or my twitter page. It takes a lot of time to do etsy, and I need to take good pictures and edit them. I sound like I am making excuses don't I? I need to make a schedule and figure out how much time I have exactly to give to my business before school starts. I will write more about school later. I have bought books about starting a crafting business, and I have also checked some out of the library too. I need to read the books and take notes. I need to make a business plan and figure out how much to charge for my jewelry. There is a lot that goes into a business and I want to make sure that I get it right the first time.
In one of the books it was suggested that I make a blog, which I am planning on doing. It will take a lot of time and energy to write another blog, but I am enjoying writing this blog and having people read and respond to what I write that I just might do it. I reserved a blog on blogger called craftsbyknight.blogger.com but I have yet to make the first entry.
