Yeah, definitely half-full. Breaking a bad eating habit is huge. And it will show up on the scale given time. I just went down 2 pounds, but I'm not too excited because I know it will go back up. I just go up and down within about a 2-pound range, and I think most people do, sometimes more... 5 or 6 pounds isn't uncommon.
That is great. Giving up on something you really love is hard. Way to go. And don't worry about the pounds, if you stick with your diet and exercise it will come off. Look at those people on The Biggest Loser, sometimes they do everything correctly and gain a pound.
