Green Coffee Bean Extract

So, I've gained weight. I stopped going to the gym a few months ago when I got back from Hawaii, and either was on holidays or had a cough and never got back to it. I'm going on holidays again in a few days but plan on signing up for the gym when I return.

In the last few weeks, I've heard lots of stories about Raspberry ketones and Green Coffee Bean Extract. The raspberry one I disregarded, but the coffee bean one caught my eye. Stupid me watched a youtube video from a Dr Oz show which showed a couple of overweight ladies who continued to eat crappy and not exercise and yet they still lost weight. While I do plan on returning to exercising on September 2nd, I thought in the meantime I would try out this Green Coffee Bean thing. I am taking two capsules 30 minutes before breakfast and then again at dinner. This means I am taking 800 mg twice a day which is what Dr Oz recommended. Now don't get me wrong, I don't actually believe Dr Oz very often, I think he's overrated and is now starting to advertise for people. But, I'm desperate enough to want the "magic pill" to help me out. I know I won't be exercising for about 2 weeks so if I can do something in the meantime and actually see results it would be wonderful.

Yesterday, I weighed myself. A disgusting 190.4 lbs. I'm only 5'7" so my ideal should be 154 lbs. Today though, I weighed myself and I'm 189.0 lbs. Yeah, it's only 1.4 lbs but hey, that's in ONE DAY! I'm cautiously optimistic that this can kick start me where I feel gungho (spelling?) about exercising upon my return from vacation. Wish me luck. Anyone else out there try this Green Coffee Bean extract yet? What were your thoughts?

    Interested in trying green coffee bean extract as well. I am still eating well and trying to exercise when I have the time, but any little bit of help I can find is appreciated. Let me know if it is working for you!

    I started taking green coffee bean extract (gcbe) 3 weeks and 2 days ago. Like you curiosity got the better of me. Have been a little lax in my eating habits and (o lets face it) exercise was pretty non existent at that time. I had started spark people back in Jan and was off and on for months. Then I saw the Dr. Oz promo on youtube and had a renewed sense of making an effort to lose weight. My starting weight in Jan was 180 (should be around 136) and on July 31 (when I started the gcbe supplement) I was already down to 173.8. I just wanted a push - a little jump start if you will. So I started it and am happy to report that after weighing myself today I am down to 169 lbs!!!!!!! That't nearly 5 lbs! Its really exciting for me because I haven't seen anything below 170 since having either of my kids (my eldest is nearly 5 yrs). Is gcbe the culprit? I don't really know yet. Admittedly after 2 weeks into taking this I was hoping for more and ended up starting the red raspberry ketones as well. I currently take 800mg gcbe with 400mg rrk 30 min before breakfast, another 400mg rrk 30 min before lunch, and 800mg gcbe 30 min before dinner. You do have to be really careful which company you purchase from as not all supplements are created equal and some won't do a thing they claim. I purchase from Pure Health because they are all vegetarian capsules with no additives and reportedly have the correct amount of the active ingredients. In the last week and a half I also started doing the Spark People 7 day bikini workout (which I must say for only 10 min at a time, they kick some hiney).
