Much needed rest day from Insanity. Feel like my body is recovering ready to go hard for another week.
Today me and 7 of my girls went to Brunch at the Intercontinental Hotel in Mayfair for our friends birthday. Very posh dahhhhling haha It was nice to get a bit dressed up and go and have fun. The place was AMAZING! Moet Champagne on tap, every single food you can think of piled high: beef, chicken, prawns, breads, crackers, cheeses, salmon, sushi, omelettes being cooked in front of you, salads, roast vegetables, cakes, ice creams, waffles, pancakes, chocolates, sweets, etc etc etc! It was food heaven! But I wasn't even worried about sticking to my food plan...my motivation is riding high right now and it feels effortless. There were sooo many options, I filled my belly nicely. Prawns, chicken, cheese, turkey, salad, boiled eggs, roast peppers, I had a ham and cheese omelette, then beef and gravy with broccoli and cauliflower and green beans! WOAH! Ok so my belly was OVERLY full, and I probably should have stopped 1 plate sooner LOL, but I am SO proud of me. I didn't eat any processed carbs whatsoever, no desserts, no sugar, absolutely nothing off-plan. I OVERestimated for my nutrition tracker that I had about 1000 calories and 20g carbs. Really doubt it was anywhere near that, but rather be safe than sorry. I'm so full I'm not gonna eat dinner. Just gonna have some green tea and lots of water and I'll be happy.
This weekend has been FAB. Went out last night and danced the night away until 2am. Again stuck right on plan. It's been SUCH a fun, busy weekend and to know that I can do all I did and not mess up even ONCE amazes me.
Sooooo proud of myself and ready to kill it for another week. Wish me luck for weigh in tomorrow. I'll be happy with even just 1 pound haha (although I've been spot on every day all week, I deserve more. But we'll see)
