Taking back my Life and starting back on my weight loss Journey

Sunday, August 19, 2012

I have been on the happy side of the road during my journey, I have been on the sad side of the road on my journey. I like the happy side much better only I have been on the sad side for so long that I lost my way. I am at the edge of the road ready to take that first step. I miss all the good things that happened while I was on my life long journey BUT I took a wrong turn. I have gained a lot of weight back and my self asteem has been low. I don't feel like exercising I don't have the excitement that I use to feel when I lost the weight, in a nutshell I feel like the good year blimp and I don't want to feel this way anymore. I know my road is long and will have bumps but as I reach each goal the excitement and feelings will carry me over the bumps. So all I ask from all of you my Spark friends is to drop by once in awhile and give me the push I need to help me down the road. Thanks everyone in advance. I will keep you all posted :)

Wow! I could have wrote that blog.

When I first started my journey in 2009 I lost 50 pounds in 8 months. Sadly I have gained 22 of those pounds back. Not once did I think of giving up but my workouts were neglected. The only reason I didn't gain all those pounds back was that I kept tracking my meals every day.

So here we are needing to do this... emoticon because "We Are Worth It"

Wishing you much success towards your goals! emoticon emoticon

I feel the same way. It used to be easy to drop a few pounds. Now I feel like every pound is a struggle. I too have lost weight over the past 9 years. This summer has been tough, though. I now have a goal of losing 15 pounds by December 31st. You can do it! Just make small goals, which is what I am doing. My biggest problem is a boyfriend who likes to eat out a lot. For some reason I can't control myself in a restaurant. Well, be strong and know that you can do it.

I need this too!!! I have not been able to get the motivation needed to follow through and I am beating myself up every time I look in the mirror. Perhaps we could help each other! I will subscribe to your blog so I can get inspiration from your journey! God Bless!
