Weekly Recap and Paleo Update

This week wasn't as focused as I'd wanted. I had to travel up to Seattle for a few days for work, which threw a wrench into my normal routine. Fortunately, I managed to eat fairly well during the week with a "treat" meal early in the week. I didn't get as much exercise as last week. That will all change this upcoming week with the beginning of Crossfit classes.
Paleo eating is going well. I'm going to begin tracking my food intake again, but it's nice to not be obsessed with every calorie I am putting in my mouth. Instead, I fill up on fulfilling veggies, grass fed beef, and eggs. Fruit is a welcomed treat. I could get used to this for sure..

Beginning weight (3/2011): 257 lbs
Last week's weight: 230.4 lbs
This week's weight: 229.1 lbs
Weight lost this week: -1.3 lbs
Total weight lost: -27.9 lbs
I'm excited and nervous about my first Crossfit class. It's a jump start class series that meets twice a week for 4 weeks. Essentially, we learn form and structure of typical Crossfit workouts. It's a beginner class, and I shouldn't be nervous, but I am. I can only improve as I move forward, so I'm excited to see where I'll be a few months from now.
