Second Week

Saturday, August 18, 2012

Today is Saturday 8/18/12...the last day of my second week on SP was yesterday 8/17/12. I lost two pounds! Yea me!

At first I was not excited about the two pound weight loss because I focused on the amount of time it will take me to lose it all. But wait...I need to focus instead on the healthy lifestyle choices I made last week. I stuck to my 1,500 calorie daily plan and exercised four days. Those are good changes.

I think I can do this with help from God and SP! I'm ready to begin my third week!

    You are doing so well!

I didn't become so out of touch with my body over night...it took many years for me to get here...so I figure the years it takes for me to stop the mindless eating, the sedentary lifestyle, the excess body baggage will be an awesome journey instead of a "battle" or "struggle".

By focusing on what the body is for, by listening to God each time I make a choice, I am having a very blessed life. We can do this! You know we can!
