Are You An Active Sparker

If you are an active Sparker I would like to hear your weight loss experience. I just got back on SP Aug 8 after being gone for two years and I found that most of my friends that I had before are no longer active. I wish all of my fellow Sparkers a great weekend! emoticon

    Wow! Glad you came back... such determination!! It took all year for me to lose 20 lbs and there is still more to go. When the scale didn't move, I took a step back and found other reasons to keep going with the program. Then I found other things to do to challenge myself like the challenges, up the exercise somehow or change the workout (I get bored easily too!). I used the trackers and set different goals for myself on workouts, team goals or monthly goals. And one surprising discovery not to be discounted is the water goal! Drinking the 8 glasses of water actually helped the scale to move down. Sometimes when you think about the challenges you have to actually maintain a healthy lifestyle, you might agree as I believe that any pounds lost is a miracle to be appreciated!

    Yep, I'm still here and still active. I'm glad to see you back.
I think the best part about Sparkpeople for me is the fitness tracker and some of the fitness challenges on some of my teams. I've been good with my nutrition for a while, but it wasn't until I amped up my exercise that I was able to lose weight. It took more than a year for me to lose 30 pounds, but I'm still on track to keep those pounds off and maybe lose a few more.
