Call me totally weird...

Friday, August 17, 2012

but my husband did something yesterday that made me so ecstatic. No, he didn't get me flowers or anything like that.

He locked the freezer in the basement. Now I'm sure you;re thinking, what on earth?

Here's the thing, our freezer is full of cookies, chocolate chips and other dangerous sweets. These things are for the girls and my husband. In theory they could even be for me if I could stop at eating one cookie.

Now we aren't sugar hoarders, it's just that between school fundraisers, girl scouts, and other things of that nature we accumulated a lot of treats. Rather than eat them all at once we decided to freeze them. However, I had a tendency to raid the freezer when I was stressed out and gobble the cookies until I got sick.

I decided to lock the freezer, and give my husband the key, but I couldn't find it.

My husband searched, cleaned, and organized until he found the key and locked it. Now the girls can't sneak cookies between meals, and neither can I. Hurrah!!!!
