I have lost 3 lbs this week. I knew I would - with starting work and all. I work as a para professional in an elementary school. I follow around a child with special needs. I also do lunch duty and recess for an hour and a half. I'm on my feet all day long (or at least for 6 hours). I knew I would lose weight because now my eating is more routine. Healthy breakfast, healthy lunch, snack after school, dinner and that's it!!!! No more eating alone until 11pm at night while settling down to watch some tv. No more having soda whenever I want, or snacking all day long. Work is good for me!!!
I've also been waking up at 5:45am to exercise. I've been doing ChaLEAN Extreme and I need to get it done and be out of the shower before I start waking the kids for school. I'm not a morning person, but I'm really bound to see this program through it's 90 days. I can tell that I've lost some inches, as well as weight, but I'm going to wait for the first 30 days before taking all my measurements. I LIKE this program because I'm not huffing and puffing and sweating. I do sweat, but it's not the aerobic type of sweat that is pouring off my body. It's weight lifting and the more I do, the better it feels.
The other amazing thing for this week is the relief I feel in my left foot. I have Plantar Fasciitis, and it hurts. I've had it all summer and starting work this week, and standing on my feet all day exasperated the problem. When I came home from work on Wednesday, I literally felt crippled. I could only hobble along on the ball of my left foot. All my weight was on my right leg, and I was walking in such a way that I was cramping my left leg. It was all horrible. I was so worn out. I immediately googled for help and when I saw some stretches to do for the problem I did them in earnest. It actually HELPED. It's not cured by a long shot, but there are actual minutes that go by where my foot pain does not enter into my brain! I now have to try to remind myself how to walk normally on my left leg again. I have an exercise band, like a big rubber band, that came with my ChaLean kit, and I use that to stretch out my foot before I get out of bed in the morning. I carry it to school and use it before and after recess duty. It has helped tremendously!!!! Thank you God!!!!!!!!
What a week! I hope your week is going well too!
