One of the cardinal rules here on Spark People is putting your goals out there, in writing, so you can be accountable. So here they are:
1. 57 days straight of some level of exercise
2. 56 days staying in calorie range
3. 55 days of blog entries.
4. Complete the 60 Day Shred (30 day shred every other day)
5. Be able to run a 5K straight either outdoors or on treadmill by the end of this 57 days.
I have kind of picked up new goals each day.
Today I went to the gym on base and ran 3.67 miles on treadmill:
W: 4 mph for 5", (W: 4 mph @ 5% for 2.5"; R: 6 mph for 5")x4, W: 4 mph @ 5% for 5", W: 4 mph for 5"=3.67 miles in 45"
The Shirt Chomper wasn't there, or maybe I was just absorbed into my own thing.
I plan to repeat today's routine on Saturday. 30 DS day 3 is tomorrow.
It was nice to get off work a bit early so I could hit the gym. Work was less stressful and I got several Soldiers sent on their way and had a soldier return to tell me that her life is getting better since she saw us a few months ago. Just goes to show that you rarely know how the little things you do will affect others, and it just makes me more committed to be the best person that I can be and try to be kind at all times.
