I hate that commercial where the announcer tells you that they surveyed 3000 doctors and some high percentage recommend low calorie energy drinks for their patients who use energy drinks. They are hoping that you are stupid enough to believe that this means that 3000 doctors recommend energy drinks. It just says that if you already use energy drinks, some high percentage of doctors think you shouldn't waste calories on them.
I hate it when advertisers assume that I am stupid.
Why are they even allowed to call these energy drinks? Energy means fuel. These drinks have very little fuel, because fuel is calories. These energy drinks are a drug delivery system for caffeine. Nothing more.
