I needed this after yesterday....

So, we all know my morning went horribly awry yesterday. Well, the day got better, but I did end up having to clean up a bit of a mess last night. I was filling up the bathtub for my daughter, when I stepped away to check on dinner that was in the oven. When I get back to my daughter, I realize that she has taken half of the garbage (mostly paper towels) and thrown them into the tub. emoticon So, we had to drain the tub, and she ate while that happened.
When we got home, I cleaned out my car and when her dad came home we sprayed my car down with the flea spray. It's nice to have a decent looking car again. I just need to vacuum it now. Also, my boyfriend is going to get it detailed in a few weeks. So, I don't want to spend a ton of money cleaning it when he is going to do that. He owes me from a long time ago.
Before bed last night I did about 6 or 7 strength training exercises. I felt like it was wrong for me to not do anything since I had been doing so weel for over 2 weeks. It just didn't feel right. I utilized my exercise ball and dumbbells and worked my back, core, shoulders and legs. Today is a cardio day, so I plan on burning up some calories.
Here is the GREAT news! Even with aunt flow hanging around, I lost 3 lbs!!!! emoticon
I'm so excited about it! To me, it's more motivation that what I'm doing is working. And......I'm not perfect, especially with my diet. I had McDonalds, some pizza, and we even went out to eat at T.G.I.Fridays last week, but I stuck with my exercise and made sure that I tracked everything I ate. I know I can make improvements on some things and it's going to take time but this is a great start in the right direction. It just encourages me to emoticon

    I agree. I can't expect to eat a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese and still lose weight, if I don't exercise. Everything in moderation!

    The great thing is that we can eat junk like McDonalds if we want as long as we are aware of it and make compensating adjustments.
