So, today I had to take the day off from work, so I could go back to the neurologist...my hair is still coming out...so I guess the first change in medication was not the answer. Unfortunately, I cannot possibly change meds while I am working, it is just too hard. There are too many side effects and too much stress, so I will have to wait till at least December to see if that is an option. I am not thrilled about that, but I am pretty sure there is not much I can do about that. At least while I am working, I am not stewing on it. I hate doing my hair every morning, and cleaning it up off the floor...but again, what choice do I have?....I will just have to wait.
I have started to work out again, and doing pretty good, trying to do it before I go to work in the morning. I feel like I need to get in a good habit, because I know eventually I will probably be put on a medication that will likely make me fight with my weight again, and I want to be ahead of the game, so to speak....to that end, I am trying to behave with my food intake too. I feel like, for the most part, I am not going crazy with what I am eating....I have stayed away from drive thrus at work, and gas station coffee in the mornings, (which tempts me to get donuts and other baaaaaad stuff!)
I definitely want to tone, so working out is definitely a part of that too. I am not trying to lose weight at all, just maintain, tone, and keep to good habits. I think that I am doing that successfully.
Anyway, Tonight we have tickets to go see Lion King on stage at the Fox Theater. We havent told my daughter...we are just going to get her dressed up, blind fold her, and go pick up her best friend, who she hardly ever gets to see. Her best friend, doesnt know whats happening either! She is just going to be told to get dressed up! We love surprising them like this! Too funny!
Well, I have to go get my brakes done, another side benifit of getting the day off...definitely a necessity! Trying to keep my head up and just try and stop worrying about what I cant control....most days it works.
